And here it all began! In 1938, Alfred Trauffer, the grandfather of the current owner, MarcTrauffer, founded his company Trauffer Holzspielwaren AG with such skillful handwork.

Even today, the “1938 Retro” collection is still carved by hand, just like in the old days.
